Specifically suitable for sparkling wine production
Wines particularly suited for sparkling wine production, usually young and fresh, neutral, with low alcohol content and relatively high acidity.
- Grape variety sparkling base wines – e.g., Chardonnay
- Table wines – mainly from Veneto and Romagna
Table wines
From various growing regions (dry or with residual sweetness)
Classic consumer or table wines that do not belong to the DOC or IGP categories. They are used for blending but can also be bottled directly.
Origin: mainly from Veneto, Romagna and Apulia.
Blending wines
Deeply colored red wines used to enhance the color of other red wines.
Rossissimo from Romagna or Apulia.
Base wines for mulled wine
Base wines suitable for mulled wine production (including organic wines)
Origin: Apulia, Romagna, and Veneto
Ready-to-bottle mulled wine
Mulled wine already flavored and sweetened for direct bottling
